I had a drop up in the hills near Blackburn , to a farm where I saw that the local mole catcher was displaying his skills,now in the north east I can remember farmers tying dead crows to fences as a warning to other crows,but why would you do this to moles as they can hardly see?If anything you would put them lower down so at least they could see what happens to them if they go into that field?

This week I also had the pleasure of pulling a bulk tanker for the first time in my life,what a bloody shock that was.I have never felt so sick driving before.22000 litres of fire fighting foam glugging around behind me.When you stop you just keep rocking backwards and forwards as it slops around behind you,go up a hill and it feels like you have your brakes on as you go up,going down the hills it feels like you are getting pushed by a hidden force.What a crappy,creepy feeling that was,and was I glad to get rid of that.

Some of you may have noticed that I am no longer driving my normal lorry,this is down to the fact that it was clean enough to get into London to avoid the new emmissions charges now in place so I have been given an older lorry.No big deal to me I am not one to have reg plate envy or even horse power envy.So long as it dosent break down and I can use my laptop I realy dont give two hoots what I drive.I also had a pick up at the old Leyland tank factory on Centurian Way ( the clues in the name) Leyland.
