We went to Fleetwood to see the boat and also to get a change of scene from the house,Dad was wrapped up and gloved up to the max,it was a trip full of memories as David can remember the most detailed of things from when he was a toddler and we lived near Fleetwood.It was good hearing the tales of yore and even better to hear my Dad joining in.As they walked a litlle way I moved the car up to be nearer just in case.We made it to a little cafe and had a very nice pot of tea.

The strokes have left my Dad aged by about 10 years,he has lost 3 stone and gets muddled,but had you said this only 8 days ago I would of taken it,the time sat blubbing my eyes out when he wasnt looking,the sight of him in A and E hooked up to all the machines,the pressure from other people and of course the financial nightnare all in all its still a very shite state of affairs but slowly very slowly we getting back on track

He has replaced his rifle for a cane but the signs are good

	David is now on his third week of looking after my Dad,he is far more organised than me.He takes no shit from anybody and has the brains to see through the smokescreen put up by others to hide what they have been doing. He has his own plan of action and is protecting Dad from the full truth of what has gone on.
