Aberdeen and the joys of the fuel shortage,well that was a damp squib.I filled up at Cairn Lodge on the way up and there was no evidence of any shortage all the way up to Aberdeen.I saw Greg in his new lorry on the M74 on the way up,I had been on the look out from Carlisle and only just caught him at Crawford of all places.We called each other and caught up on all the stuff that had gone on since leaving MRS.Now I have his number again I will text ahead just in case we are near.From there it was down to Andover and a couple of containers to the big pipeline,this was PPE central,and the amount of brand spanking new plant was a bit freaky.The big down side was the 8 hour wait to get tipped,a crane had to be built and moved up to the site blah blah blah.If I could sleep during the day I would of loved this,but as my earnings are related to the amount of drops I do I could well of done without this.I am sure I will be OK but given the choice of sitting on my fat arse or driving up and down then give me the driving every time.




My cab has a leak,I have looked all over but can't see anything that would let water in.I know that it comes in from the roof and not from the floor.My feet have been soaking wet for weeks now.This in turn leads to a muddy cab,muddy legs and muddy seat and doors.I have told Big Dave and when the garage munchkins have a second I am sure they will track it down,on the plus side its summer soon.So the day on the pipeline was a wet one to boot. It was then back up to Garstang and pick up to go down to Bideford in Devon,I had a blow out on my lorry,it was the offside lift axel and it went with a bang.I was overtaking a caravan at the time and I am sure the driver is still wiping his arse as I type.Straight over to the hard shoulder and wait for the tyre fitter.I rang the Vehicle Agency to inform them and may as well not of bothered but then you live and learn - a random passing patrol saw me and came back and shut the first lane.I did'nt get a mention on Sally Traffic and as it was just as the rush was about to hit I did'nt realy cause that much of a problem.

The park has been revamped near where we live,one of the climbing swingy spinny things is bust already and they havent put a bin in there so there of course the empty beaar bottles and tin cans but the girls love it.Mr Morf the dog had his first walk up there aswell this weekend as he has had all his jabs and we got him a new lead and his tag is in the post.


	If Mr Tayto in Ireland can do it , so can Rebecca and me! We are growing our crop from 5 potatoes found in the bottom of the veg draw in the kitchen.They are Somerfield value crappy ones but all I want to do is show Rebecca how you can cut them in half and grow a whole new plant. It may look out of place in our front garden but what price education? Also in the front garden are two apple trees that we both grew from pips 3 years ago and are now doing well.

The rabbit,dog and cat all got into a big fight.I had to take the rabbit out of the ring because he had his eyes on the kittens and wanted to do naughty things to them.The little swine fought like hell and took huge slices out of my tummy.I think he had been sharpening his claws the walking meal for four. We went to the boot fair in Poulton with my dad on sunday morning at dawn. I got two first aid stations for 20 people for a fiver,a Mitchel 615 boat real for a fiver and a Grundig Music boy for 2 squid - now that is good going.

		The morning dew on the grass of the boot fair field. Off to London today - Monday - and hope to park near as I can to Kemsley,then onto Tilbury to reload.
