| Remember remember the 5th of November....What a weekend.We had a full box of display fireworks left over from last year and Dad had a bag of rockets,added to this the two huge monster Roman Candles I bought on a BOGOF on Saturday the night was going to go with a bang.
But first of all news of our animals - The rabbit escaped on Thursday , only to be found walking back up our drive dragging its sorry ears on the ground and walked straight back into the house of it's own accord , ha ha I told him the streets ar'nt paved with sunflower seeds. Then George took number one slot in the cute league by attacking and killing Jo's duster,he also spent some time with Rebeccas Furby army. After fireworks , hot Singletons Pork Pies , lashings of beer and crisps , we went over the fields to watch the towns fireworks. In years gone by there has been a bloke stood on the style preventing you from crossing the field to watch them for free . this year he was not there - RESULT. I would say we had the best seat in the house , I needed to take some pictures of rockets going off , in the hope of making a half decent firework montage. |
