Whit Monday in Garstang ,a tradition going back years to the dawn of time.The two youngest girls were in the parade as Morris Dancers and for the first year Emily and Jo wer'nt doing anything and were able to just relax and watch.The weather held fine for both the morning and afternoon parades.The only thing that went wrong and spoilt what was a cracking day, was when a rather large lady came over and pounced on my dad,he did'nt have a bloody clue who she was nor did I until later,but she must of had shit for brains or was on drugs if she thought that was a good idea or maybe she just thought she would do it for a laugh I just dont know,heres a top tip though - next time introduce yourself and let us know your intentions rather than pounce out on people,or other than that just leave people alone if they dont know you or more to the point dont want to know you - its not much to ask is it?
The last of the blossom has gone on the hedgerows so it must be TT time in the Isle of Man.At Heysham the bikers are making the annual migration to the three legged isle.I saw these two on the docks as I was washing my hands.
			Look at his 'Heeeeed' it has TT written in it,now thats dedication.I would have my blood group if it was me!!
I have found the drop off point for the trailers that were on the Riverdance the night the mighty wave took it down to Davey Jones's locker - well the beach at Fleetwood any how.They look well mangled and full of sand and stones.I like the look of the life boat,and I have pictures of the ship before the accident and the lifeboat,plus the photos taken by Miss Derbyshire soon after the storm.
A drive down to Chard with Ian,all in all there were 4 of us tipping in this sleepy backwater,the firm we were going to is very much like DCL in both size and work ethic.The thing that gets me is how beautiful it is down there,once off the main drag you are slap bang in the middle of the country.As a treat for Ian I raided my voucher store,when you fuel up at some petrol stations you get vouchers.I dont have a necter card or any other points card,but the vouchers are saved for a treat or when I meet up with other drivers.We had a breakfast at Sedgemoor on the M5,and as my cooking has gone off the boil as its no fun just for one I was bleeding starving.
I had a week of dry feet last week but now I must pay the price,a full two days of rain.Now my feet are sodden and my work shoes stink.I cant see where the water is getting in,but it is now gettin wet on the other side of my cab.
