Here we go then back over the sea to Ireland,Bernard was off to Germany and it looked like it was going to be just me for a week or two.Jo was over the moon I was going as the bank balance is a joke at the minute. The crossing over was nice and calm, but no breakfast in the morning.I was then off on my travels, down to Dublin with a groupage load.

Morning at Warrenpoint

The weather has turned a bit chilly and I would reckon its safe to say that Summer is over.I had a drop near Urlingford, and took a road accross country to get there a bit quicker. It took me past a n old church and tower stuck out the middle of nowhere just past Kilkenny.

I actualy went out round the town with Bernard this weekend, normaly I just sit in the cab and do all my own cooking to save money as it defeats the object of the excersise if you just piss all your money up the wall on the weekend, but this was different after a wanky two weeks I needed to cheer myself up again.I had put my washing in to be done and off we went to live it up in Warrenpoint on Saturday afternoon.I even had a three course meal and for once it was gorgeous.I have to admit I needed to do it just to relax.I had spent the last two weeks watching my pennies so it was nice to let whats left of my hair down.

The N7 and the M50 are terrible stretches of road,if someone just farts it will come to a standstill,so this crash between a lorry and a Merc caused major mayhem. The traffic just crawled past and no attempt was made to put up screens around it.There is a bus lane at the side of the road it may well of helped if they had opend this up just to ease the pressure but more to the point give the paramedics some space to work,as you can see from the picture no effort has been made and looking back even I am shocked at just how close the traffic is to the crash

Had a drop right at the bottom of the country, near a place called Timoleague.Cracking town with a nice view out over the river, speaking of rivers I went past Skibreen and saw fish fins just cruising around in the water at low tide, huge ones aswell not just small fry. They were probably just Mullet but my overactive mind had turned them into monster Salmon and Sea Trout just waiting to be caught by the time I hit the first town....

As the run the first week had taken its toll on me I thought it might be worth listing it all on AUTOROUTE and taking a look at it.And I have to say it looks pretty cool.

This is a small photo of Timoleague Abbey, there is also a toilet and parking at the side of the road so all in all a cool place to visit, you can't park up overnight though and there are hundreds of signs telling you just that.
