In Flanders Fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep,
though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

	Rebecca has taken to drawing tings on A4 in black felt pen then use Photoshop to colour it it rather than use paint..The results are stunning and have had rave comments on MoBlog.The 'Aztec' collection is going to be put on mugs. There are times when I wish I knew how to take this talent on to the next level,the Moblog boys and girls say she should have her own site so the people could comment on her work.
It was Glasgow for me and a 02:30 start to get there for 07:00 and sit and wait for the workers to arrive.I had the mud cleaning machine on and I also had some bog roll earlier on in the week on my first trip up to Scotland (I did it twice this week).Behind the bog roll drop there were some run down factory or warehouse or what ever it used to be.It just took me by surprise that slap bang in the middle of this modern city such waste is hidden away and forgotten about. I tried to capture this on the phone and I liked the touch of rather than removing the cast iron gates to let lorries in and out just knock a hole in it instead?
