| The lorry and me continue our travels around the U.K and Ireland.Meeting interesting people and seeing the strangest of things.When you love what you do for a job its hard not to let people know.So this site will shine a light into the world of general haulage and life as a HGV driver and stressed out dad of three.Its been made using Adobe Golive and Photoshop,with the photographs taken on a Sony Ericsson K800i.The high points of last year were - Trucker Tucker,Riverdance the ferry photographs(cheers Susan) ,Three Sisters garden and the Wales holiday. |

Mr Morf is our Sprocker Spaniel,he came from a farm near Garstang and is now part of the family.He has his own Facebook page and of course his own photograph page on this site.Over the years you will see how he has grown and what he gets up to. |

| As always there is a 'transport' theme running through he site,some of he things I see from day to day crack me up.There have been times that I have cried laughing at stuff I see or do.Then again there things that reduce me to tears - like the arse in a sage green Jag cutting me up on the M40 becacause he was doing a crossword in the middle lane - V901VUY - I tried to catch up with him but could'nt .

| There are of course hundreds of photographs from my travels around the U.K and family life.Just have a mooch around and see what you think.I have also been updating the scans on the 'Old France photos' of me on my travels.
The road death toll on Irish roads is very high,this is down to loads of factors but the big two must be speed and drink.To combat this the adverts on the T.V are gruesome and to the point,the first time I saw one I cringed.It shows a young couple sat on a wall with music in the background then cuts to a car spinning towards them.........
I reckon campaigns like this work and if it helps cut out accidents I am all for it.Why then with all the road building in the country were no provisions made for lay bys for drivers or service stations,in my own opinion they are an after thought?

| If you are looking for a picture of a nice arse , look no further than this.This arse overtakes traffic even when there is oncoming traffic.Top marks.Next time you might not be so lucky.A big thanks to all the mechanics at DCL for keeping my brakes in tip top condition. |

| One of the search strings used to get to this site was 'HGV DRIVERS DIARY' .Now this put an idea into my head,what would a full weeks work with all the shit that goes on look like?

| Heres another picture of a nice arse - this arse runs up the inside of a line of waiting traffic then when hes got to the front he forces himself in.The beauty of this arse is that he does all this whilst on a mobile phone smoking a fag and dosent even give a toss that he has got everyones back up in the line of traffic.Good man yourself . |

There are no prizes on offer to the person who works out who I drive for!
DCL are a firm that treats drivers as drivers rather than just fleet numbers,of course there have been times where you feel like chucking your toys out of the cab (I did for a year and went to work for MRS for a year) but it all boils down ' are happy at work?' if you wake up in the morning and dread going to work then its time for a change.
The current economic climate is killing the haulage market in the UK so while my wheels are still turning and I still have a job, I shall continue to post random stuff on the site.
